Japan Tag 2010 - Cosplay: Sailor Moon School Uniform Group

I'm really late to come up with this post, I'm even more late with the post about the Dokomi! I had to wait for a few pictures to get online on Animexx, that's why.



Japan Tag 2010 took place at the 29th May 2010 in Düsseldorf. In Düsseldorf is the greatest popularity of Japanese people living in Germany and with this event they want to show their bond to Germany. The the official website is telling me this. ;P
Next year the Japan Day will take place for the 10th time and to celebrate this, people in Düsseldorf made a whole week out of it. Yet there aren't so many informations. I'm already curious about it and looking forward to it! ^-^



Last year I did my first Cosplay on the Japan Tag. I was part of a Sailor Moon Cosplay group as Sailor Moon (weird sentence now XD). We already planned last year to Cosplay the School Uniforms of the characters at Japan Tag 2010 because we got such a great feedback.



Although this Cosplay isn't as eye-catching as the Cosplay of the 'Fighting-dresses' (no idea of to call it :D), many people recognized us. The Japan Tag is not only visited by Manga & Anime fans or simply Japan fans, but also by other people who got to hear about the event or simply intended to watch soccer at the bar district, I guess. They recognized us as well. XD
Don't know how many times we got to hear a loud 'SAILOR MOON!', especially from the male part of visitors somehow.



We took a little break at the end of the promanade. There is a small grassland where many 'Animexxler' take a break, sit together, writing in ConHons and so on. After sitting around a bit we started to take pictures. I'm not sure if it was my glorious idea to take this kind of a picture.. =_=
We wanted it to be authentic so I really let Rei give me a kick so that I'd fall to the ground. OMG, I didn't thought that it would actually really hurt! I hade blue marks on my hipbones afterwards. Oo"
But it was worth it. I'm still hoping someone will bring up all the other pictures of the photoshoot, so that someone will make a gif out of it. :D



Like last time I didn't got many opportunities to see something of the event itself. It's kind of stressful to Cosplay at this event because there aren't just the people who enjoy to take pictures of Cosplays, but there are also people who never saw this before and just asking everyone who looks a little bit different to them for a picture.



The Japan Tag offers many shows of Kendo, Sumo, Awa-Odori, J-pop Act, Manga drawing competition, Cosplay competition and great food! The food is very expensive, though I couldn't resist to eat Yakitori and Japanese ice'cream'. Loving it!
I missed out the Awa-Odori, such a shame! (T_T)



Not sure what I'm going to cosplay or if I'm going to cosplay next year, but I'm looking forward to it. ♥
