I like the beginning pretty much, though I hated it in that moment. Yuki and me stood kinda in the back of the hall and during the "Red Soil" 'intro' we got in row four or something like that?! I think you can imagine, that it wasn't a nice way to get forward this way. So far I only stood in row four at Kaorus site on concerts, I guess it isn't so tough there. In the middle it's really horror. (O_o) I mean, okay it's still a rock/metal band so I won't complain about it any further. Yuki and me went upstairs and stood on stairs leading to the second balcony, had a good view, a good sound and a very good time there.

"Red Soil" is a really intense song so the crowd got very energetic and when I was upstairs and secure, I enjoyed the energy which lingered in this old theatre building.

When the catchy beginning of "Hageshisa to kono mune no naka de karamitsuita shakunetsu no yami" started I could feel all those happiness hormones lingering in me and making me unbelieveable happy. XD The song is even more awesome live! I love the way, we all sang along the refrain and being so close to the song and kinda connected to the band this way.

Before the first "Inward Scream" of Kyo they played Inconvenient Ideal. ♥ My favorite song. I already thought I wouldn't be able to listen live to this song ever again and then they played it. My heart started beating like crazy and I was so immensly happy, that I was close to cry. If you would have been there, you maybe would know why. The song is so beautiful, though somehow in a sad and depressing way of beautiful. I always pay a sepcial attention to the line 'mune ni te wo atte' (put your hand on your heart/cross your heart), he stressed this, he put his hand so hard on his chest that you could even hear it a little bit. At this moment I felt so bad, like I just pay to less attention to..don't know everything..

"Shokubeni" got one of my favorites live, I think. I always liked the Acapella, but listen to it, feeling it live with Kyo barely using the microphone is hard to put into words. Sadly many people had to scream during this calm yet intense moment. Just don't understand why the hell they do this... all in all the crowd was kinda okay concerning screaming in inappropriate situations though.

Vinushka as the last song before the encore was great! I like the live version of it more, because of the part 'koko ga shinjitsu da' (there is the truth). In the album version Kyo is whistling it, but live he always raises his voice there. To me it feels a little bit similar to 'mune ni te wo atte' in Inconvenient Ideal. A demand? Don't know... I admit, I often fail in understanding something the right way. Often it's just a shallow and unconscious feeling in me, what makes me 'feel' and 'understand' a song.

And the song which should never be missing in a live of Dir en grey - "The Final" - was played in the encore. Again a song where the crowd sings along and all those voices together with Kyo building a terrific atmosphere. Kyo also held the mic in the direction of us, so that we would all sing "The Final" along with him.

Like always Kyo announced the last song. It was "rasetsukouko" from the album macabre - very old song. Good way to close the concert in my opinion. I was so sad... still am, kinda. Miss this band. (.o.)

The concert was really worth my trip to London! To me they also seemed in a good mood, Kaoru, Die and Toshiya changing sites of the stage ones in a while. Even grinning at each other a bit. And though it seems like I was only staring at Kyo, no I'm no Kyo fangirl, I'll always keep an eye on Kaoru when watching them live. XD And if I compare my concert report to the other two before.. finally I wrote about the music. Finally I could remember the music! Was a good decision to go upstairs. Looking forward to the next concert of them. ♥

This is the shirt I bought before the show. Somehow the colour of the font doesn't fit this picture... but it fits my skirt of my 'Mikan Sakura' Cosplay. Haha :D

Sehr beeindruckent dein Bericht.
